The Standing Orders regulate the conduct of Council and Committee meetings.
The Council has adopted the Model Standing Orders issued by the Standards Association of New Zealand (NZS 9202:2003). The Standing Orders also include procedures for giving notice of meetings, deputations, petitions, rules of debate, and public attendance at meetings.
