Timaru Road Sewer Extension

For several years now, Council and Environment Canterbury have been aware of a problem with failing septic tanks in a small number of properties along a low lying section of Timaru Road.  Residents in this area have requested a solution to their problem.

The Waimate District Council have prepared four options that could solve the Timaru Road sewerage problem.  Each option has different costs and different benefits.
