Dr Sarah Creegan MB ChB FRNZCGP Dip Obst has permanently joined Waimate Medical Centre, previously practising on Great Barrier Island. Sarah specialises in family medicine from childhood to care of the elderly.
Dr Wallace Metcalfe, MB; ChB; Dip Obst also works part-time.

We have four quality registered nurses who jobshare, Edith, Liz, Merrial and Kirsten. A Practice Nurse is available 8.30am to 4.00pm daily so you can phone or make an appointment to see them (appointments are necessary to avoid long waiting times).
The nurses are available to chat to if you have worries or concerns over anything. They can advise you on whether or not you need to see a doctor.
You can see a nurse for blood pressure checks, pregnancy tests, travel vaccinations, child immunisations, liquid nitrogen (for wart removal) or have blood tests carried out.

Ken Bagnall from Smoke Free is available at Waimate Medical Centre weekly.
Dr Roger Morgan and the Community Mental Health Team have their rural clinic at the Waimate Medical Centre every 6 weeks.
Ear Health Canterbury - Penny Davidson visits bi-monthly for all your ear health needs.
The Dietician from Timaru Public Hospital also visits from time to time.
