Make an appointment with the Practice Nurse to have your child immunised or to discuss immunisations. Babies need to have been checked by a doctor before being immunised at 6 weeks.

Call for an appointment with the Practice Nurse for blood tests. Fee for blood test is $5. When enquiring after laboratory results, please phone in the afternoon when more time can be given to explaining the relevance of any tests requested by the doctor.

If you’re going overseas then you need to plan ahead. Waimate Medical Centre provides comprehensive travel advice on appropriate vaccinations and malaria prevention.
We advise a full consultation 6 weeks before leaving for major trips to allow adequate time to plan and administer the vaccines.

We provide a streamlined service for people wishing to have immigration medical assessments. All blood tests are performed on site and we will also arrange any necessary x-rays.
When making an appointment please make sure that you state an Immigration Medical is required.
