Boil Water Notice - Waikakahi Rural Water Scheme
The Waimate District Council wishes to advise consumers of the Waikakahi Rural Water Scheme, that due to possible contamination from high Waitaki River levels starting midday Saturday 16th May 09, all drinking water should be boiled until river flows return to normal.
NB: Please conserve water as the scheme intake will be shutdown over the high river flow period.
