Permanent Boil Water Notice - Waikakahi Rural Water Scheme

Consumers on the Waikakahi Rural Water Scheme are advised to boil all drinking water for domestic purposes.

This entails a rolling boil of at least one minute for all water used for drinking, food preparation, and personal use, such as cleaning teeth.

Users of the scheme are also advised to inform any staff, visitors and tenants on your property.

Council staff are continuing work to upgrade the Waikakahi Rural Water Scheme to comply with the Drinking Water Standards for New Zealand.
