Road Closures - Wastewater Upgrade
Roading
The following roads are closed while work is being undertaken on upgrading our sewerage network:
- William Street – between Racecourse Road and Dobson Street
- Chamberlain Street
- Dobson Street
- Edward Street
- Wilkin Street – between Holmes and William Street
The road closures are expected to last around two weeks. The contractor will open up these areas as much as possible on the weekends but there will be ongoing traffic management until the roads are reinstated.
Work will then progress to High Street (between Moorhouse and Edward Streets). A detour will be put in place for this duration. Further notification will be given when this closure is put in place.
Please follow any signage or directions from contractors on site.
