Permanent Boil Water Notice Reminder - March 2025

Council is reminding all consumers on the Cannington–Motukaika, Waikakahi and Waihaorunga Rural Water Schemes to continue boiling all drinking water.

We advise a rolling boil of at least a minute for all water used for drinking, food preparation, and personal use, such as cleaning teeth.

Please also inform all staff, visitors and tenants on your property of this reminder.

Council staff continue to work on upgrading the Cannington–Motukaika, Waikakahi and Waihaorunga Rural Water Schemes to comply with the Drinking Water Standards for New Zealand.
