Conserve Water Notice: Lower Waihao and Waikakahi East

The Waimate District Council would like to advise all consumers on the Lower Waihao and Waikakahi East Water Schemes that these water supplies have been temporarily shut down.

This is due to the deterioration of water quality at the source.

We advise consumers to CONSERVE WATER where they can.

Unexpected interruptions are possible on our rural water supplies. It is important that your property has four days water storage of your supplied allocation as per the policy.

Please also inform all staff or tenants on your property of this notice and your neighbours.
