A LIM is a useful document when considering the purchase of the property as it can contain valuable information about the property. A LIM will contain all or some of the following: Land and capital valuationsRates informationPlanning information regarding the zoning designationBuilding consents, code compliance certificates, warrant of fitness (either current or expired)Land features, including identified hazards such as flooding and erosionBoundary measurements and encroachmentsServices through the property, including water pipes, stormwater and sewerage drainsResource consentsAny licences - food, liquor, on/off licences, trade wasteHow to apply for a LIMDownload the LIM application form and return it to Council with your payment. Cost Residential and Rural properties of less than 2.5 hectares $350 Non-Residential and Rural properties greater than 2.5 hectare* $500 *Processing of LIM to a maximum of four (4) hours. Charge-out fee of $150 per hour applies thereafter.
