Road Closure: Benmore Dam Road, 7 September

Meridian Energy is planning on completing maintenance on the Benmore Dam structures and advises that Benmore Dam Road will be closed to all traffic on the following date and times (including a contingency date for poor weather):

Monday 7 September 2026: 8:30am to 4pm
(Contingency date Tuesday 8 September 2026)

During these road closure periods, all motorised, peddle power and walking traffic, will be unable to cross the Benmore dam top.
