Conserve Water Notice: Otaio Makikihi Water Scheme

The Waimate District Council would like to advise all consumers on the Otaio Makikihi Water Scheme to monitor water usage and CONSERVE WATER where they can.

This is due to an issue at our water treatment plant and the inability to supply water to the scheme.

Unexpected interruptions are possible on our rural water supplies. It is important that your property has four days water storage of your supplied allocation as per the policy.

Please also inform all staff or tenants on your property of this notice and your neighbours.
