Waimate
District Council's maintenance contractor will be carrying out footpath lichen
spraying within the Waimate township from
Thursday 17 September to Wednesday 23
September 2026,
weather permitting.

Works
will generally be undertaken during the early morning to minimise disruption to
pedestrians and traffic. The product being used is
Yates Surrender
Mosskiller.
As
a precaution, residents are advised to keep pets off treated footpaths until
the sprayed surfaces have completely dried.
