Road Closure: Benmore Dam Road, 13 October

Meridian Energy is planning on completing maintenance on the Benmore Dam structure and advises that Benmore Dam Road will be closed to all traffic on the following date and times (including a contingency date for poor weather):
- Tuesday 13 October 2026: 8:30am to 4pm
(Contingency date Wednesday 14 October)
During this road closure period, all motorised, peddle power and walking traffic will be unable to cross the dam top.
