- Road closure in place from approximately 7am to 3:30pm
Purpose of Closure
- The road closure is required to allow the Strawberry Fare event to be held safely. The closed road area will provide space for event stalls and pedestrian movement between Seddon Square and Boland Park.
Access Information
- Emergency service access will be maintained where practicable.
- Pedestrian access will remain available.
- Motorists are requested to follow all traffic management signage and directions.
- Vehicle access through the closed sections of Goldsmith Street and John Street will not be available during the closure period.
Public Objections
- Any person objecting to the proposed road closure may lodge their objection, together with the grounds for that objection, in writing to Waimate District Council no later than 4pm on Friday 13 November 2026.
