Road Closure: Aviemore Dam Top Road, 20 & 30 November

Meridian Energy is planning on completing maintenance on the Aviemore Dam structures and advises that Dam Roads will be closed to all traffic on the following date and times (including a postponement date for poor weather):
Aviemore Dam Road
- Planned Date: Friday 20 November 2026
- Planned Time: 8:30 am – 4pm (Contingency Date and Time, Monday 23 November 2026, 830am – 4pm)

- Planned Time: 8:30 am – 4pm (Contingency Date and Time: Tuesday 1 December 2026, 830am – 4pm)
During these road closure periods, all motorised, pedal power and walking traffic will be unable to cross the dam top.
