To find out how much your rates are, use the search tool below to find your property. This search will require either your address or valuation number. You can also see valuation information and a break-down on what services and facilities your rates pay for.

2025/2026 RATES

The Rates Search includes the ability to view rates for 2025/2026. This includes Waimate District Council (WDC) rates based on WDC’s 2025–2034 Long Term Plan (LTP), as well as Environment Canterbury (ECan) rates, which are set independently by ECan and collected by WDC on their behalf.
