Council is now livestreaming its meetings on YouTube so that members of the community can watch the proceedings.
Farewell To Councillors
Council extends its sincere thanks to outgoing elected members, Councillor Peter Collins and Councillor Colin Pankhurst for their valuable contribution to Council and the community.
Both councillors cited being able to bring ratepayers’ views to the Council table and advocating for their concerns as their favourite part of the role.
CCTV Study Leads to Cost Savings
Council’s three waters team has recently used CCTV technology to inspect the wastewater network, identifying where stormwater is entering and reducing the system’s capacity. By tackling these issues, we avoid costly pipe upgrades and create room for future growth – a win-win for the community.
