$4.7m investment for water infrastructure
Council has approved a $4.7 million investment to significantly upgrade rural water treatment infrastructure, marking one of the largest water quality improvements undertaken in the district’s history.
Winter camping at the lakes
Council has approved trialling winter camping at the Waitangi East campground, responding to growing interest from the public.
Grants awarded
Successful applicants for the latest round of two Council grants have been announced with $2,000 of funding going to heritage projects and $10,000 to recreational track improvements.
